About me.
Hello! I am a licensed architect living in Brooklyn, NY, but am a born-and-raised San Antonian at heart. My experience spans the public, private, and nonprofit sectors in architecture, research, education, and high-performance design and building standards. I earned my Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Science in Architectural Science degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
I am passionate about solving the interconnected challenges within our built environment, specifically at the intersection of climate resilience and the built environment. I am currently an Instructor at the Yale School of Architecture and my work is focused on whole life carbon emission reduction strategies, embodied carbon accounting, and social and equity considerations within the AEC industry and supply chains. I am deeply committed to fostering healthy and ecologically regenerative design solutions, and believe the connection between education and industry is vital in achieving these goals.
I am licensed in the state of New York, achieved Living Future Accreditation (LFA), LEED AP (BD+C), and have experience developing and maintaining sustainability standards in both the private and public sectors - across commercial, federal, and state projects. I currently serve on the New York State Embodied Carbon Technical Advisory Group, supporting state efforts to reduce embodied carbon in major capital construction projects.
I’m always excited to connect with new people and explore potential collaborations. If you’re interested in working together or learning more about what I do, please don’t hesitate to send me an email or schedule a chat.
